FiberTrain Corporation™ offers safe and effective fiber optics training (commercial and MIL-SPEC) for the professional telecom and network installer, including hands-on training in connectorization, fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, testing and troubleshooting utilizing state-of-the-art tools and equipment. Training in the Hampton Roads / Tidewater Virginia area is provided in a classroom located inside the Norfolk Wire & Electronics store in Virginia Beach, Virginia (Map and Directions).
Class scheduling
is suspended until further notice. Instructor is doing fiber
optic engineering, upgrades and installation work for the US Navy.

FiberTrain Corporation™ was established by Dennis Fain, a retired U.S.
Navy Instructor and Master Training Specialist, to fill the need for
quality fiber optics technician/installer training
that could be taken to the customer on-site or provided locally in a classroom.
As a former Branch Head and Senior Instructor of the Navy's fiber optics
school at Fleet Training Center in Norfolk, VA, Dennis has the qualifications
and extensive instructor background required for effective and exciting training.
FiberTrain Corporation™ is an accredited school of The Fiber Optics Association™ (FOA™ School #243).
Dennis continues to provide a wide variety of quality computer and networking services through his first company, Compatible Computer Services, established in 1989.
